*Ad - Revolt Fitness is allowing me to participate in the program at no charge so long as I share weekly posts.
All thoughts, opinions, and results are my own.*

Last week was the start of a new Uprising for Revolt Fitness but I completed my 6th week in the program. A new Uprising means that everyone starts over with the detox diet as a way to rid your body of sugar. Most of the foods that are part of the detox diet I have a sensitivity to so I just improvised. I tried to stick with the plan as far as fitness and diet are concerned. But if you remember, yesterday I said I got a new job and I am trying to adjust to working full time and maintaining my fitness routine. It will take time.

I had a few failures but for the most part my diet was pretty clean. I may not have worked out daily and I may have had that donut on National Donut Day but I am learning. I do not consider Revolt Fitness to be a fad diet. I consider it to be a lifestyle change and that means that I will have my up's and I will have my down's but in the end it is a learning process.

Here is a part of what I ate instead of the detox diet last week.

Even for not working out or following the fitness routine, my numbers are pretty good. I am going to say that is because I have been really good with my eating habits even with all of the changes that have been happening in this household. Next week I am going to try and get my numbers posted for you all and some before and current photos. I am working on it.

How do you stay healthy while maintaining a full time job?

  1. I was better at working out when I had a full-time job. I would go to the office gym almost every day. Now that I'm at home?... hmm, not so much.

    Those lettuce wraps looks yummy!

  2. I think it is such a hard balance working full time, eating well, and exercising. Last year I struggled so much with just being plain tired after work and not having the energy to workout. I was best if I forced myself to workout before work....but we all know how early mornings go haha

  3. Your meals look delish to me! Working full time and trying to maintain fitness is difficult, I find that introducing my coworkers to new recipies and finding friends who want to try classes or yoga with me after work really helps :)
